Selah

Although I'm not a christian (I'm heathen) I do apreciate others religion and I do respect the believes of others.
I sometimes find that christians aren't as understanding of my religion, but hey, the ones that are true to their faith usually "practice what they preach" and don't judge me for having different views.

Today on Home Sanctuary there is a post on Selah, the "art" of taking a moment to stop and breath.

I'm a rather energetic person, but I have always taken the time to stop, look around and enjoy the small things that make life worth living.
Now it's usually my boys that make me stop and smile. They make life so worth living and I feel like wasn't "whole" until I had them.

My sense of wonder and amazement grows with every moment I spend looking at the world through their eyes and my apreciation for the details of life has gotten stronger.
The sound rain makes on plastic bucketts, the way the sand feels between my toes, the rustle of leaves as they fall off the rowan in the garden, the rythmic breathing of a sleeping child... This is what makes me thankfull for being alive.

So to all of you out there, I wish for a day full of wonder and peacefull moments, looking at the world through your childrens eyes.
